Mondello, rinomata località balneare che dista circa 10 km dal centro storico di Palermo ed occupa un territorio che si estende ad arco, lungo una magnifica baia, tra la Riserva Naturale di Monte Pellegrino e la Riserva Naturale di Capo Gallo.
Il nucleo originario è Mondello "il paese", situato all'estremià nord della baia, antico borgo di pescatori sviluppatosi attorno ad un'antica tonnara.
Nell'ultimo decennio la località ha sviluppato la propria vocazione ed ha incrementato l'offerta turistica con ottime strutture ricettive, numerosi ristoranti tipici, negozi e divertimenti. Il clima fresco d'estate e tiepido d'inverno, i fondali marini ricchi di splendida vegetazione, la spiaggia fine e bianca, l'acqua del mare trasparente dai colori intensi e tanto altro, fanno di Mondello un posto di vacanze!
